What’s more in LED Panel Lights?

You might have seen the sign boards and advertisements with lights in background in public places. These are LED panel lights that are used to give a better feel and look especially in night.

LED panel lights are capable of providing a full spectrum of light just as sunlight. It consists of an opal diffuser connected to thin light source. The panel is an 8mm thick plate of acrylic acid with fine lines of LED bulbs. The thin film of LED is very flexible and you can cut it in to different shapes. Speaking on its efficiency, no other lights can stand in front of LED lights. It consumes only less power and helps reduce the fuel cost. This is a great way to reduce the consumption of energy resources when the available natural resources are scarce.

The LED light panels come in two types; conventional panels and surface mounted device panels. Both are used for building indoor and outdoor screens. According to the line patterns of LED panels, it is classified as striped panels and Matrix panels. The striped LED panels have etched lines in a single direction and throw light from these unidirectional lines. On the other hand, the matrix, LED panels have engraved lines in both horizontal and vertical directions. It follows a grid pattern and reflects light all around.

Another important feature of an LED Panel light is its light bar. In order to emit the full light downwards, the rear panel is fitted with a white backing paper so that all the available light is reflected out through the panel. This ensures a uniform and higher light output. Although LEDs produce less heat, it is important to channel away that heat for avoiding the damages at its rear end. It is installed with a special heat sink for thermal management. Also the components are sealed with a waterproof tape to ensure more protection.

LED panel lights are capable of emitting colored lights. The color changes can be enhanced with the help of a DMX controller. The panel lights also come with a light controller unit through which you can change the colors and adjust the brightness of the light.

The applications of an LED panel light include architectural lighting, display lighting, retail lighting, interior lighting and lighting graphics. It is commonly used in most business organizations and other institutions. You can also install it in your home. Thus LED panel lights are the perfect sources for commercial and residential lighting.
